New England Girls School (NEGS), is an independent School for day students and boarders located in Armidale, Northern NSW.
NEGS has a long history dating back to 1895 and is the proud custodian of 60 hectares of grounds incorporating heritage listed buildings, playing fields and an on-site Equestrian Centre.
NEGS enjoys a reputation as a leader in girls’ education and continues to be one of the largest girls’ boarding schools in New South Wales.
The school prides itself on a philosophy of nurturing the individual to strive to achieve to the best of her ability, whilst endeavouring to become independent and capable to encounter the world beyond NEGS.
