Our school is situated in the Sutherland Shire approximately 40 minutes south of Sydney CBD. The river-side suburb of Bonnet Bay is renowned for its beautiful bush reserves, fairy lights at Christmas time and warm community spirit. Located in a peaceful bushland environment, Bonnet Bay is a small, safe and friendly primary school offering its Kindergarten to Year Six students quality education and ultra-modern facilities. As well as the regular curriculum, our students are provided with the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of enrichment and extra-curricula programs, catering for a diverse range of needs, interests and talents. This includes choirs, band, drama, dance, visual arts, public speaking, gymnastics, netball, soccer, cricket, t-ball, kanga cricket and softball, writing groups, multimedia and environmental studies. We are proud of our proactive student welfare practices and student leadership programs including Pre-school/Year 5 buddies, Kindergarten/ Year Six Buddies and our fair and balanced school discipline code and award system. Our record of high academic achievement is reflected in NAPLAN test results and UNSW competition results. We offer a school canteen which operates three days a week.
