Mossman State School is located in the centre of the business district of Mossman in Far North Queensland. We have an annual enrolment of around 230 - 240 students so we are large enough to be able to access a rich variety of skills and resources to support your child yet small enough that each child in our school is known personally and as an individual.
At this school we promote a supportive school environment so all members of the community can work together in achieving high academic and behaviour standards and engage in rich, relevant and rigorous learning.
We also believe in the importance of an effective teaching and learning environment that fosters positive aspirations, relationships and values. All staff foster mutual respect among individuals and encourage all students to take increasing responsibility for their own learning and actions.
