St Joseph’s School Busselton is a part of Catholic Education WA located in the Bunbury Diocese. We are a school that owes its heritage and traditions to St Mary of the Cross MacKillop and the Sisters of St Joseph. The Sisters of St Joseph were in charge of St Joseph’s school from 1922 to 2006.
Our school has a long association with the Busselton Town Community and It has strong ties with the Parish of St Joseph’s in Busselton. It is in this context that St Joseph's School caters for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 7 from Busselton and its surrounds. Our primary purpose is to provide Catholic children from the Parish of St Joseph's with a Catholic Education in a safe, caring and loving environment. Our school is centred on Christian Values whereby all members of our school community treat each other with the respect and dignity each deserves.
St Joseph's School has developed a strong sense of community between the school, parish and families. Parents and carers actively work with the school and the staff to provide our children with an education that caters for the spiritual, academic, physical and mental well being of our students. There is a strong sense of inclusivity as a number of our students who have disabilities participate at all levels in our school life.
Welcome to St Joseph's School Busselton one of the popular educators in your Busselton area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
