Education QLDÂ introduces Manning Primary School in Manning, for all your education and learning needs.
Our school, originally Canning Bridge School established in 1936, was renamed Manning Primary in 1951.
We are located in a residential area in the City of South Perth, an inner metropolitan school.
There is strong parent support from the P & C. Parent involvement is fostered through the School Council, help in the classroom, on special days or at sports carnivals.
The staff bring a range of experience, special talents and innovative programs to the school. Nine classes, Pre-Primary to Year 7, provide students with a comprehensive program.
Facilities, on the 6.4 hectare spacious grounds include air conditioned and gas heated classrooms, a large oval, cricket pitch, tennis, basketball and netball courts and small adventure playground.
There is a covered assembly area for cultural and sporting events, a music room, and automated library. The school's ICT needs are well catered for with a computer laboratory with 29 computers, a mobile laptop trolley with 12 laptops as well as internet linked computers in each classroom.
Welcome to Manning Primary School one of the popular educators in your Manning area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
