Education QLDÂ introduces Hunter Valley Actors Centre (HVAC) in Maitland, for all your education and learning needs.
The Hunter Valley Actors Centre (HVAC) provides Acting & Theatre Courses for Adults and Children. Private Tuition and Corporate Events available.
Each Course includes the Basic Fundamentals of Acting such as Voice, Movement & Improvisation, as well as other subjects, and concludes with a 1 Act Play/Performance Showcase that the Students have been learning and rehearsing for. Courses build on one another in-order to achieve a greater understanding of skills and techniques to deliver a believable performance.
For Adults and Children, from Beginners to Advanced, these Courses are designed in such a way that the process is fun and comprehensible. The art of learning, creativity, imagination and performance are gained through fun drama exercises and games, examples of technique, hands on experience, theoretical understanding, narrative interpretation and direction, spatial awareness and production techniques. These are just a few of the many components of each course.
These courses will help build confidence and self esteem, develop communication and social skills, you will explore your potential and learn to use your imagination and creativity in a fun, friendly & trusting environment. These skills can be used for personal, social, professional or artistic growth.
Each of the Tutors has had over 20 years experience in the industry and they bring a wealth of knowledge to the HVAC & its Students.
HVAC also produced an extremely successful Theatrefest Hunter at the Cessnock Performing Arts Centre in 2010 - a Festival and Competition of 1 Act Plays by Theatre Groups in the Hunter and as far away as Taree and Sydney. Looking forward to another in 2015!
