Education QLDÂ introduces La Luna Youth Arts in Thuringowa Central, for all your education and learning needs.
A not-for-profit youth arts organisation, La Luna Youth Arts delivers innovative, creative arts programs for children and young people in Townsville as well as the greater North Queensland region. The company uses community cultural development processes in circus, dance, drama, visual art, film and music for performance. Currently, it delivers age-specific programs each week across the school terms, the Certificate III in Media - an accredited training course in partnership with TAFE North and Come & Play - our school holiday program. The company also partners with other arts organisations, government departments and business and community sectors to present a range of projects and productions. La Luna Youth Arts' home at the Riverway Arts Centre has a band rehearsal space and provides public address systems and other equipment for hire. La Luna Youth Arts' performance troupes and ensembles provide roving entertainment, street theatre and tailor-made entertainment for both corporate and community events.
