Education QLDÂ introduces St Nicholas Of Myra Primary School in Penrith, for all your education and learning needs.
St Nicholas of Myra Primary is a small Catholic learning community catering for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6 in the parish of Penrith.
At St Nicholas of Myra our five core values that underpin all that we do are Compassion, Cooperation, Responsibility, Respect and Justice. We believe that these gospel values are essential for our school to be an effective place of quality learning for each student.
Our school seeks to be rich in life, love and learning for all those entrusted to our care. We value working in partnership with parents to ensure that children grow in a secure yet challenging environment. We are committed to providing a school where children feel happy, safe and cared for and are engaged in their learning so as to become responsible and successful individuals in a technological and global society.
Our teaching and learning environment is enhanced by our commitment to team teaching and team planning. At St Nicholas of Myra we believe that teaching and learning should be purposeful and fun, and enable children to make meaningful connections.
Our role as educators is to provide foundations for students to participate effectively in workplaces and communities of the future.
Welcome to St Nicholas Of Myra Primary School one of the popular educators in your Penrith area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
