Education QLDÂ introduces Trinity Theological College in Leederville, for all your education and learning needs.
The foundations for fruitful service of the Lord Jesus Christ are found in the pages of Holy Scripture (2 Tim 3:16). There God displays himself and makes known his salvation purposes, through his Son.
The Bible also supplies us with the shape and purpose of effective ministry and the character of the true servant of God. Ministry (whether professional or not) must be other-person-centred and world-oriented. ‘Training in righteousness’ (2 Tim 3:17) must therefore take place in community, where student and teacher learn together in the sight of God and of the world around us.
The vast bulk of the formal training provided at Trinity Theological College involves learning and understanding Scripture (biblical languages, biblical theology, exegesis, theology) and learning and understanding people (including ourselves) and society in light of the Bible (history, theology mission, evangelism, leadership, preaching, pastoral care).
Scripture not only places high priority on the knowledge and practice of Christian leaders but also on their character and piety. The informal training of the college therefore includes weekly pastoral care groups, corporate hearing of the Word of God, regular input from experienced Christian leaders and missionaries, a week-long mission each year, and many unstructured ‘chats’ about life and ministry.
Our aim in all this training is that our students will be Christ-centred, confident in the Bible and its implications, prayerful, resilient, entrepreneurial, compassionate and able to equip others for their ministries (Eph 4:12).
Welcome to Trinity Theological College one of the popular educators in your Leederville area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
