Education QLDÂ introduces Miriam Vale State School in Miriam Vale, for all your education and learning needs.
Miriam Vale State School's vision is to cater for the needs of every student by providing diverse learning opportunities designed to develop and celebrate the whole person. Miriam Vale State School students are active, life-long, learners.
As a P-10 campus our educational program offers continuity across all phases of learning as well as a consistency of approach. Our curriculum is based on Queensland Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting (QCAR) Essential Learnings and Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) National Curriculum but teaching and learning experiences are deliberately linked to local contexts. At Miriam Vale State School we value our school community – and we value our place within the Miriam Vale community.
We enjoy a fantastic location – less than one hour from two regional cities as well as mountain, water catchment, estuarine and surf beach environments. Added to those riches we have great resources at the school itself: extensive ICT hardware; fully equipped Manual Arts workshop and Home Economics preparation and kitchen area; large grounds including under-cover areas and swimming pool.
At Miriam Vale State School we offer a wide range sports and healthy activity programs as well as extensive Arts and Technology programs – we’re good at playing and working together!
Welcome to Miriam Vale State School one of the popular educators in your Miriam Vale area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
