Dandenong South Primary School is a medium sized primary school, with a current enrolment of 544 students. The enrolment at the school has been relatively stable for the past 20 – 30 years, ranging from approximately 470 – 520 students.
The school promotes excellence in all aspects of learning and strives to cater for students’ individual needs, developing the total child. The development of Literacy and Numeracy skills is emphasised. This thrust is well supported by the Early Years Literacy and Numeracy Programs, Reading Intervention, Reading Recovery and the ESL Program.
