At Eltham North we take great pride in our curriculum. Our Learning and Teaching Programs are designed to encourage and promote a love of life long learning.
The Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) documents form the basis of the school's comprehensive and integrated curriculum programs. Whilst a wide variety of additional resources materials and texts are used by teachers, the school's curriculum structure and focus is based on the VELS documents.
Our purpose is to provide a dynamic learning environment that engages students to achieve their personal best by extending and supporting them in their endeavours. We aim to realise the full potential of each young person by the provision of education which is increasingly personalised around the students’ needs. Each child is expected to become a lifelong learner, and to set high but achievable goals. We provide a broad range of learning opportunities to enable the student to realise these goals.
