Education QLDÂ introduces Boddington District High School in Boddington, for all your education and learning needs.
Boddington is named after an early settler, Henry Boddington, who was a farmer and shepherd and later leased land in the area in 1875, before moving to Wagin.Hotham Valley Railway was constructed in 1912 to meet demand created by the local timber industry and was a catalyst of Boddington, a townsite built in the 1920s, with a school, hospital, council offices, post office, shops and agricultural hall.
The old Boddington District High School buildings are still being utilised and managed by the Shire and community groups serving community interests.
