Education QLDÂ introduces Northam Senior High School in Northam, for all your education and learning needs.
Northam Senior High School offers a comprehensive program and is inclusive of all students. At Senior School level the program is divided to cover TEE, Wholly School Assessed and VET, with all of these courses including the new courses of study. Within these broad categories a large range of subjects are offered, with students having the option to combine courses, or access workplace learning. Within the VET program some students are engaged in Traineeships and the school has a proud record of achievement in TEE, WSA and VET Courses.
Middle School delivers programs across all the 8 learning areas and the school has been proactive in implementing the Curriculum Framework. In Years 8 – 10 programs focus on students with special behavioural, literacy and numeracy needs, with the school’s Education Support Centre catering for students with varying disabilities. The “Follow The Dream” program caters for aspiring aboriginal students.
