Dapto High School is a co-educational comprehensive high school. The school has a secluded setting, protected from the local urban development by the south coast rail line and picturesque Mullet Creek. For 180 degrees the western outlook takes in rural grazing land and the coastal escarpment. The school buildings are surrounded by beautiful gardens and sweeping playing fields. We have a family network, with many teachers and parents being ex-students of the school. That network is reflected in the strong student welfare program which is aimed at supporting students to develop their potential as learners and as citizens. The school offers a traditional curriculum and has developed an excellent vocational strand of courses to meet student need. Sporting opportunities are a strong tradition and cultural activities are highly valued in the school community. Programs utilising technology and its learning applications have been developed and we are building the school's computer networks to improve administrative efficiency and educational resource access for students. We value parent and community participation.
