Values Statement
As a community, we at St Matthew’s Catholic Primary School have identified core values that speak of our collective essence and belief. These values are reflected in the following ways:
We support each other in our common journey in faith by acknowledging the need to share our stories, celebrating our experience and articulating our hopes and dreams.
We cultivate an authentic sense of belonging through rejoicing in our similarities, discovering the richness in our differences and extending a spirit of welcome to all.
We believe that our practices, policies and attitudes should enhance the dignity of each person.
We acknowledge the excellence being achieved in the present, while identifying and striving for personal and communal goals.
St Matthew's Primary has continued to provide a warm and secure educational environment, with a strong belief that happy and contented children learn best. Our students are encouraged to always model positive behaviour and to value the uniqueness of each person created in God's image.
Welcome to St Matthew's Primary School Windsor one of the popular educators in your Windsor area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
