It caters for a population living in medium to high quality housing. The parent body is very supportive of the school through an active and enthusiastic Parents & Citizens Association. Parent involvement is a feature of the school.
The school is currently a level 5 primary school in the North Metropolitan Region. The administration team is comprised of a principal and two deputy principals. Senior teachers and special responsibility allowance teachers support the school through their roles in curriculum coordination, administration and professional development.
A registrar and office assistant work with the school administration and a library assistant manages the extensive school library and Teachers' Resource Centre. Education assistants support teaching staff in the three pre-primary and kindergarten areas, while others work with special needs children throughout the school.
Welcome to Woodvale Primary School one of the popular educators in your Woodvale area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
