Wiley Park Public School's goal is to provide a positive and supportive learning environment for students, parents and staff. All members of the school community are responsible for their own learning and high quality outcomes are expected.
Learners are encouraged to take risks, reflect on their learning and engage in the self assessment of their progress. Staff work collaboratively to implement school programs and members of the learning community contribute to program improvement.
Emphasis is placed on the teaching of basic skills within an integrated curriculum framework. When students leave their primary education they should be able to: collect, analyse and organise information; communicate ideas and information; plan and organise activities; work with others and in teams; use mathematical ideas and techniques; solve problems; and use technology.
